XYZ Designers was established in 2012 as the MENA arm of Architekten Wannenmacher & Moller Gmbh. We are the lead of design innovation, applying our multicultural understanding and technical experience to a wide range of award-winning projects across the globe. Architekten Wannenmacher + Moller GmbH has its origins in Architektburo Gregor Wannenmacher, who established the company in 1955 in Dusseldorf after completing his studies as a structural engineer and working for four years with various architects. The move to Bielefeld came in 1959. The office grew continuously into one of the largest and most successful architecture offices in Eastern Westphalia-Lippe. Architekten Wannenmacher + Moller has always seen its aim as developing architecture to suit the task in the area of tension between social responsibility and individual client wishes that is also convincing from a design point of view. Good architecture can only be created if we constantly succeed in uniting all those affected by the planning and the experts who are involved in order to formulate the functional, economic, ecological, human and community aims involved in the planning of building in mutual work and consensus. The inter-personal qualification and skills of the planner are required here in order to settle any conflicts and to find solutions that visibly express the demand for a wholly convincing architecture. The path to this point is long and thorny. But if it is successful then all the effort has been worthwhile and the motivation is renewed to continue along this path with conviction.
