Around early 2018, a kitting company Xytron BVI (established 1986) expressed an interest in supporting a local presence in the GCC in the form of a JV and in particular in the one of Free Trade Zones. This company has for many years provided complete electronic component kits to support contract manufacturers and OEMs to enable just in time production. This company has for many years represented Globally recognized major component brands. They also established some of their own house brands in co-operation with high quality ISO certified component producers. Their request was that a company, Xytron UAE, was to be established. In turn a direct relationship with Xytron BVI’s franchise partners and house brand producers was facilitated and which ensures the supply of material directly into the free trade zone under the very competitive conditions that are enabled by these franchise agreements.
