The library was established in 1989 and works to provide various types of knowledge materials and sources of information, including books, maps, periodicals, references, and audio-visual materials, among other others, covering various fields. Working Hours Sunday to Thursday 8am to 8pm | Friday 8am to 12pm | Saturday Closed Umm Suqeim Library The library includes a section for children as well as a reading room, activity room, and advanced audio-visual facilities. It provides children with knowledgeable and fun activities and events through the annual summer and winter camps. The knowledge bases in the library meet the needs of all readers, whether adults, adolescents, or children, ranging from religion, history, geography, and literature, to management, economics, medicine, and others, in Arabic and English, in addition to stories for children in multiple languages. The library also allows readers to suggest materials to be provided in the library through the website or the app. Umm Suqeim Library is located on Jumeirah Street in Dubai, and is open to visitors from Saturday to Thursday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. nected via computer systems and have links with other modern libraries, providing access to vast sources of information and knowledge on an immense diversity of topics in both Arabic and English."
