About The Doris Duan

Inspired by our motto, ‘Expertise that cares’, we provide multidisciplinary care under one roof at The Doris Duan-Young Autism Center (DDY) for children and young adults. Located in the Dubai Healthcare City free zone, our facilities, spread over 11,500 square feet, cater to more than 18 services across assessment, clinical, therapeutic, inclusion and vocational programs, and community and caregiver trainings. With unconditional love, a value practiced by each member of The DDY Autism Center Team, comprising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Developmental Psychologists, and Counselors, we have empowered almost 300 families since opening in 2014. In a span of a few years, we have grown in recognition as one of the leading autism centers in Dubai providing comprehensive, personalized, and innovative care. Our efforts towards building capacity and capability in autism care have been recognized by the Dubai Healthcare City Authority Excellence Awards – 2019 for Healthcare Innovation and 2020 for our work as a Rehabilitation Center. In addition, our staff are accredited in Crisis Intervention Training by Canadian Safe Management Group. We continue to build an inclusive society for individuals with autism and People of Determination and their families in collaboration with government, private, and academic institutions, and support Dubai’s medical tourism initiatives.
