Born into a family that believed and advocated holistic healing, for Sindhu Shivajyothi, the seeds for this venture had already been sown. Subsequently, it was just a matter of exploration for Sindhu. As a child and growing up in a holistic family with strong holistic values, her home was her first gurukulam (school) with her grandfather, grandmother, and uncle being her first gurus. Early on, she was educated in the values of dharma, dharma and about karmas (the good & bad) and how it affected human beings. Her grandfather’s knowledge in astrology was immense and was eventually passed on to her. Her grandmother was a strong woman with high values that were inculcated in her as a child. During her time with them, there were a lot of discussions and training whereby she was able to develop mind power and learn about counseling. Her strong willpower was thereby developed along with the key values of love, care, empathy, gratitude, generosity, honesty, trust worthiness, respect and divinity. Her uncle’s gift to her was the holistic lifestyle – Ayurveda, yoga, healing techniques.
