Sharmila’s Dance classes are a mix of Hip-Hop, St. Jazz, Funk, Jazz and Lyrical Contemporary. The routine changes every 2 weeks and with that comes a new style. The class begins with a high energy warm-up to get your body warm, then going into a technical section to improve ones technique, intense stretching, ab workout, isolations, corner work consisting of coordination exercises and technical jumps followed by a dance routine.n 1999, Sharmila began teaching dance in the UAE and formerly established her company “Sharmila Dance” in 2006 at the Dubai Community Theatre and Arts Centre, MOE, where she offered classes to students ranging in age of 7 years old through to adults and professionals. On hearing the news that Ductac was shifting to Midriff she decided to open “Sharmila Dance Center” which is based on the 3rd Floor at Al Attar Business Centre in Al Barsha and has three state of the art dance studios. With over 500 students currently attending her classes she looks forward to offering an even larger variety of classes to a wider range of dance and performing arts enthusiasts.
