About Sharjah American International School

Sharjah American International School was established in 1997 in Sharjah. Dr. Aysha Bin Sayyar and Dr. Nawaf Fawaz saw a need for more educational choices to become available for students and their parents. In 2005, a 2nd branch was opened in Dubai, followed by branches in Umm Quwain in 2014, and now here in Abu Dhabi in 2016. SAIS-Dubai is an international school located in Dubai-UAE with the English language as the main language of instruction. The school offers a rich American Curriculum which is based on internationally recognized American Education Standards including CCSS for English and Math, and NGSS standards for Science. The school models California State Education Framework. SAIS-Dubai is fully accredited by AdvancED/ NCA-CASI and NEASC.
