There’s not really much vibe though. The caverous space is very quiet – you wouldn’t want to be having a private conversation here – and its very bright, making it a far cry from any cosy, romantic Italian restaurants you might have in mind. But rather clinical setting aside the food is decent. The menu houses all the classics and it’s all prepared well. A rocket salad is simple but tasty and studded with chunks of beetroot, while a bowl of paccheri pasta comes slathered in tangy tomato sauce and plenty of mozzarella cheese. Grilled octopus is also expertly cooked and goes down a treat. And if you have a sweet tooth don’t miss the desserts – there’s an interesting tiramisu that’s both hot and cold, which tastes a lot better than it sounds.
