Inspired by the original Salmon Guru in Madrid, Diego Cabrera brings his quirky, award-winning bar concept to the heart of Dubai’s newest architectural and design hub, The Opus by Omniyat.Born in Madrid in 2016, the multi-award-winning and revolutionary concept Salmon Guru is acclaimed for its whimsical and extraordinary cocktail bar experience curated by Diego Cabrera and his talented team of mixologists. Ranking no.24 on the World’s Best Bars list, the name Salmon Guru is a nod to the tenacious nature of salmon who beats all odds by going against the current. In keeping with this powerful notion, Salmon Guru offers a quirky, adventurous and an all-round sensational cocktail bar experience, which can now be enjoyed in Dubai as of this year. Based in The Opus by Omniyat, Argentine-born Cabrera began his international expansion by heading to the UAE with the support of food and beverage operators, Elements Hospitality Group. The new outpost further echoes Cabrera’s own creative spirit, who has personally designed the space and thoughtfully captured the essence of the original bar, whilst also allowing the new nightspot to stand proudly on its own feet.
