About Panos Melekkis Jewellery

The Melekkis Story started with the grandfather of Panos Melekkis, who started his career in horology in the 1950s. Since then, Panos Melekkis father and mother started their journey in the jewellery business and soon became one of the most successful businesses in Cyprus, opening four stores around the country and operating for over 40 years. Following in his parents footsteps, in 2008 Panos Melekkis graduated gemology and jewellery design from The GIA Institute in Florence, Italy. Following his graduation, Panayiotis joined the family business and became both a successful jewellery designer, and the main buyer of precious stones and diamonds. Having worked in the family business for several years, Panos Melekkis then opened his own store in Limassol, Cyprus where he focused on custom made, bespoke designs and operating successfully for over 5 years. Panos Melekkis entered into partnership to launch a gold and manufacturing factory. This enabled Panos Melekkis to understand production of jewellery, acquire knowledge of step by step processes of producing and creating gold pieces and luxury items. Following the completion of this project, Panos Melekkis opened his own design studio in Dubai Design District offering bespoke design services, custom made jewellery production and private showcasing for clients. Having a love for art and vintage jewellery, Panos Melekkis’ inspiration transpires from British, French and Italian history. Having travelled substantially, he is constantly inspired by new cultures, cities and art. All designs replicate travel experiences and cultures.
