Our process includes activities relating to electroplating, plating, polishing, anodizing, and coloring of metals. Electroplating is the deposition of a metallic coating onto an object by putting a negative charge through a metal, or metal product, and immersing it into a liquid solution. When this occurs, the metallic ions in the solution that carry a positive charge are attracted to and bond to the metallic surface. In comparison, anodizing is an electrochemical process that accelerates the metal’s natural oxidization. This toughens the metal by creating a thick layer of oxides on its surface. Aluminum anodized finishes are widely used in the production of consumer, commercial, and industrial products.
