His son Dr. Akef Magrabi, an ophthalmologist himself and a visionary surgeon, continues to invest in the field of eye care services and establishes the Magrabi Foundation’s non-profit eye care hospitals as well as the MAGRABi chain of eyewear retail stores. As chairman of MAGRABi Retail and MAGRABi Group, he brings the MAGRABi name to international prominence across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
