LIWA is a registered trademark born in the United Arab Emirates and represented by Al Sakhra General Trading which was founded in Dubai in 1996. The word “Liwa” comes from a famous oasis city in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, which is a historical city with magnificent scenery. The ancestors of the royal families of Abu Dhabi and Dubai began here 230 years ago. The Liwa city has one of the largest sand dunes in the world. The annual Liwa Festival plays the most important part of the Abu Dhabi Cultural Festival, motif of Liwa city are camels and dates through all centuries. Today, Liwa city not only attracts tourists from all over the world, but also become the preferred vacation & celebration destination for the local people in the United Arab Emirates.The founding of LIWA marked an important milestone in the development of Al Sakhra General Trading, making two decades of growth with good business manners.
