Dr. Shazya Rashid is a specialist clinical psychologist and a certified trauma therapist with 22 years of experience in the field of Clinical Psychology. She is from India and has worked in government and private organizations in India and in the U.A.E. She speaks English; Hindi & Urdu fluently and delivers evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Shazya completed her post-graduation from India and has earned her Doctorate degree (Psy.D) in clinical psychology from California Southern University, U.S.A. Her doctorate dissertation was on understanding adolescents’ bereavement experience and grief reaction following sudden peer death. She provides expert advice, clinical training, and supervision to mental health care professionals. She has lectured and presented on different psychology-related topics both nationally and internationally and is actively engaged in providing mental health support and care to individuals within the community.
