Calcutta Imperial Dragon Restaurant is owned and managed by Patrick Ranee Chu since its conception in September of 2005. Patrick having found his passion for serving and catering in the food industry at the early age of 21, has been in Dubai for well over 40 years. Working and being part of this ever-changing industry has taught him to adapt, predict and cater to all individuals here in the U.A.E. For the past 3 years, it has been known as ‘Calcutta’s Chinese’ – a team of Chinese cooks, including the late Mr. Steven Chen who was the partner and the ‘Chef’ of the restaurant, has brought their own flair. Steven has bought in the ‘Chinese cuisine’ from the ‘City of Joy’ which is now called ‘Kolkata’ from the same city where today the cuisine is enjoyed by millions daily all over India.
