Dear GIS Parents, It gives me great pleasure to address you in this letter and share with you two important updates at the school. For the past 12 years, I have had the privilege and honor to serve you in the capacity of GIS Principal supported by an excellent Senior Leadership Team (SLT) of highly qualified and talented people. During this time, Greenwood has grown and evolved and so did its needs. This has necessitated that I move forward to serve the school where it needs most: in the Governing Board. As a result of this move, it gives me pleasure to inform you that I will be handing the school principalship to my long-time and trusted deputy, Mr. Abdul Hafiz Kaissi. Mr. Kaissi and the SLT have helped me lead the school to many successes. He had a pivotal role in shaping GIS into what it currently is. As the new school principal, Mr. Kaissi will assume all the responsibilities and decisions pertaining to this position. I am sure that he & the SLT will continue the same journey we started 12 years back earning GIS even more feats. To develop leaders in all walks of life through quality learning and teaching.
