About GEMS Parent Experience Centre

It first began in 1959, when Mariamma Varkey and her husband KS Varkey arrived on the shores of Dubai and opened a school in their very own home. And it continues to this day, driving us forward, inspiring and informing every aspect of what we do. From humble beginnings and a single school, we have grown to become one of the largest Kindergarten to Grade 12 private education providers in the world, operating leading international independent schools in six regions across the globe, offering every major curriculum under the sun.
