Dubai-based Abdullah Alshalabi is the Co-founder of FishFishMe.com, an online fishing boat charter service. Like booking hotels and rental cars online, he came up with the idea that people can hire fishing boats anywhere online rather than going through a tour company or hotel. Fishfishme.com lists 100 boats with 80 charter partners in 20 countries, including the Bahamas, India, Mozambique, and Thailand. With 15 boats based in the UAE, they are available in the majority of the seven emirates. The majority of the rest are in Oman, Kuwait, and Spain. Your Story caught up with Abdullah Alshalabi to get a glimpse of his entrepreneurial journey. Here are the excerpts from the interview.
