Dr. Sami Tabib is a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). He obtained his pre-med degree with honors from the City University of New York in 1991. He then obtained his DPM degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 1995. Next, he completed a two-year foot surgery residency program at St. Michael’s Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey where he was chief resident and was granted a Podiatric surgical residency degree by Seton Hall University in West Orange, New Jersey. He is board-qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and is a clinical assistant professor at the College of Medicine, University of Sharjah. Dr. Sami is a Member of The Faculty of Podiatric Medicine of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, MFPM RCPS (Glasg). He is also the Special Olympics Regional Clinical Advisor (RCA) for the MENA region. Dr. Sami is the only podiatrist in the UAE who is licensed by both the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and the Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH). He is also an examiner for both DHA and DoH. Dr. Sami is based at the Chiropody Center in Dubai. He is also a visiting consultant with the Ministry of Health Emirates Health Services (EHS) where he runs monthly diabetic foot clinics in several EHS hospitals in the northern Emirates.
