About Dr. Olga Vartzioti

Dr Olga is a European Board-Certified Physician in adult Respiratory Medicine awarded with ERS HERMES Diploma, joining a registry of highly qualified respiratory professionals. During the past 15 years, she has researched and practiced in multiple areas of Pulmonary Medicine, collaborated with some of leading researchers as co-investigator in clinical trials for Asthma, COPD, and has numerous publications to credit. Dr Olga completed her residency in Respiratory Medicine in Athens Greece and awarded with National certification (CCT) in 2008. Following, she continued working as Specialist Registrar oversaw the treatment of a major respiratory outbreak H1N1, focusing to expand her skills and professional development keeping up to date with continuous medical education in the exploring pulmonologist fields over the years. She was also a clinical fellow at the respiratory-Allergy Unit, Paediatric Department, Atticon University Hospital, in Athens. She also served as Senior House Officer, Department of Medicine, State GP and Casualty Officer provided long term comprehensive care for adults, adolescents and the elderly. She is a member of ERS, ATS, HTS, STS, served in several charity organizations and provided services to athletes and long-distance runners. As a marathoner and trail runner, her main interest is assessing and managing respiratory problems in athletic individuals.
