The Department of Finance’s responsibilities include developing the general annual budget for the Emirate of Dubai and implementing it in cooperation with all relevant local government departments. In addition to providing cash liquidity, including transferring budget allocations to all relevant government departments, it also supervises the preparation and development of government fees and resources. The Finance Department also verifies the collection of fees and public revenues and supervises the government's bank.
