Desert Cubs Cricket Academy is proud to be a far-sighted Academy that nurtures young generation of athletes into professionally successful sportsmen and sportswomen of the future. Young players at Desert Cubs are trained to be stronger, to think and act as leaders and to equip themselves with self-confidence in the face of adversity on and off the field. We aim to transform our Cubs into ‘LEGENDS OF THE FUTURE’ and their journey begins, right here with us at Desert Cubs. Desert Cubs Cricket Academy, one of the largest Sports Academies in the Gulf was born with a passion by Presley Polonnowita, Founder and Head Coach of the Academy to nurture young talents to become great sportsmen & sportswomen and Legends of the future. It was a mild establishment for us, at the beginning of a corner net of Sharjah Cricket Council ground with a group of 11 youngsters. Since then, our growth has been rapid and irresistible and today we are one of the largest, best equipped, registered Sports Academies in the UAE and are proud to establish ourselves as one of the pre-eminent academies in UAE for training over 1200 registered students in Cricket, Badminton, Swimming and Athletics. Our coaching techniques are renowned for their quality and finesse, inclusive of state of the art facilities to support our coaching sessions and qualified coaches with First Aid Certification to develop youngsters in this region. Expanding our wings into different arenas in sports has added several milestones to our journey. Such initiatives have been taken by Desert Cubs in order to keep the younger generation physically fit to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
