Live Right next to the main entrance of Oud Metha’s Grand Hyatt is Cooz. It seems to get overlooked by visitors to the hotel who either miss it or have already decided to leave by the time they’ve noticed it. Those people are missing out, though; it’s a cool jazz venue with an inventive list of mixed beverages and good array of Scottish shorts. The vibe is laid-back, which fits with the music being played, and the drinks selection is impressive. The English Garden is great as a summer refresher, or for an Arabian twist, try the Sumac Gimlet, which includes sumac cordial.
