About Ansol Gulf

Ansol Gulf (G.D. Portbury Ltd.) was established in the year 1989. It was amongst the first sulphonation plants in the Middle East using world class technology supplied by Desmet-Ballestra. ​ In 2013, Anichem acquired full share of the company from Sasol Italy ​ The first phase of the tank farm expansion was completed in 2015 adding new bulk liquid storage capacity of 9,000 CBM and additional pipelines to the chemical tanker berth of Jebel Ali port. ​ Ansol Gulf completed the second phase of the expansion in 2022 boosting the total storage capacity to 25,000 CBM
