The Library at the American University in Dubai creates an exceptional information environment that supports the instructional programs and educational goals of the University. AUD’s library staff is committed to the student, hosting a collaborative learning space, providing research assistance, and consults with faculty to deliver course-specific, research skills instruction. The Library provides a collection of print, multimedia and online resources to support the university's teaching and research objectives. The library has access to print and e-books focusing on the university’s academic programs; including a large collection of established literary works, prizewinning titles and popular fiction, and actively encourages a reading culture. With subscriptions to print and online journals, newspapers and magazines and a large collection of full-text, online research and professional databases, students and faculty have access to resources across a wide range of disciplines. AUD Library supports an environment conducive to quiet study, research and group work. Currently registered AUD students, AUD faculty, staff and their families, and registered AUD alumni can access our resources and check materials out. Members of the Dubai community, enrolled in educational institutions in other countries, may apply to use resources on site.
